Engine power
The first is the rated power, also known as calibrated power, which is an important indicator, both reflecting the size of the tractor, but also determines the amount of state subsidies (if in the subsidy directory). From different manufacturers, but the rated power of the same tractor, the actual power will not be exactly the same, because the engine power is changed within a certain range, the manufacturer's "calibrated" rated power may be close to the drunk power, may also be much smaller than the drunk power. If you can also learn about the power from the manufacturer or dealer, it will help to determine which tractor's actual power or reserve power is greater.
Transmission type
The technical grade of the tractor mainly depends on the gearbox. At present, the power shift is more fashionable, and many tractors are known as power shift tractors. In fact, the tractor with high-low power shift, and the tractor with semi-power shift (also known as regional or segment power shift), the gap is still quite large. Although it has made great progress than a pure mechanical transmission, the gap with the semi-power shift is far greater than the gap between the semi-power shift and the full power shift. The technical grade of the gearbox, from low to high, is in the order of pure mechanical, high-low power shift, semi-power shift, full-power shift and stepless transmission. The higher the technical grade of the gearbox, the better the economy of the tractor, which is also the fundamental reason for the higher price of the technical grade of the gearbox. However, it needs to be explained that the gearbox with high technical grade may feel relatively slow when changing gears and feel more "meat", which is normal.
wheelbase
Wheelbase is the distance in the horizontal direction between the center lines of the front and rear wheel axes (see E in the diagram). As long as you ask the manufacturer or dealer, you can obtain the exact value, you can also use a tape measure of more than 3 meters in length, and measure yourself. The wheelbase parameter is an advantage for some tractors and a disadvantage for some tractors. The advantage of large wheelbase is that the tractor frame is large, the structural weight is heavy, the longitudinal stability is good, and the counterweight can be added less when the heavy load is operated. The problem caused by the large wheelbase is that when the light load is working, the weight of the tractor can not be reduced, the fuel consumption is large, the turning radius is too large, and the tractor is not flexible. Small wheelbase, high-power tractors are generally not suitable for heavy load operations of pure traction, such as matching with traction subsoiling machines and traction harrows. The large wheelbase, small power tractor, it is difficult to adapt to a variety of light and heavy load operations "universal tractor".
